Hi, Looking into lower brokerage options. Is Self Wealth still recommended by forum members and does anyone want to share a referral code? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

SW are ok, but there are other chess-sponsored options with lower brokerage fees - eg pearler.  Many also not keen on the rating aspect - comparing you to other SW users in terms of returns etc - a distraction for long erm investors.

Am I the only boomer left who still uses commsec?

After 18 years I couldn't be arsed changing. More logins and passwords and identity checks and paperwork and ugh kill me now.

Man I really do sound like a grumpy old man lol.

Thanks Wadiman. I'm not going look at other SW users so distraction not a problem. I hadn't heard of pearler.

Haha marty, I was just thinking do I reeeally wanna switch to another platform with all the identify checks and paperwork? :(

Marty - i still use commsec for my smsf - can't be bothered changing it either!  CBA should give me some free shares based on the brokerage i've paid over the last decade!
