It plugs in the specific pension contribution rates my spouse and I are required to contribute based on our particular collective agreements, and forecasts our earnings in future years based on those same agreements and salary grids. A lot of the column headings wouldn't make sense to anyone but me. There's a retirement date tailored just for me, and the calculations all change after that point.There's a lot more than that to it, but my point is, any spreadsheet worth having, might be worth making yourself. It's a great exercise for getting to know your finances and how to plan.
