I am thinking of having my asset allocation towards 90% in stocks and 10% in bonds. I am 33, I have no idea when I will retire, but I figure I have 20+ years minimum. Now my question is, when do I start considering changing my allocation knowing that I have no clue when I will retire. By the way, i love my job, but I also know things can change in 15-20 years just like it can stay the same, so please fellow mustachians, guide me towards the right path. Do I stay 90/10 for 15 years??? Maybe 20 years??? Do I use the famous 120-age portfolio to select how much equities, maybe the 110-age or john Boggle's view of 100-Age. That is the part I am confused about is knowing when to change my asset allocation as I get older.
