Looked for information here could not find it.
Have to replace furnace.
In the quote I have optionsl things like cleaning ducts - understood it is not needed usually.
I also have optionals like adding some kind of air purifier in the duct, one even rated for covid 19.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with such a thing.
I have one air purifier we used for the smoke, covers only one room.
I also have good furnace filters which should filter the pm 2.5.
Please let me know, I need to reply quickly as the furnace is out and need to replace it asap.
I am inclining to net get any.

If you have natural gas for your furnace, consider going with something like a Navien combi high efficiency boiler/on demand water heater. That dropped my gas usage massively vs a ~2003 boiler with a normal tank water heater.

The thing is the furnace is in the finished basent and the water boiler is in the garage.
The boiler is 2 years old, the furnace 18.
I bought the house 6 months ago, knew the furnace was old.
It might be impossible to fit the water heater where the furnace is now.
It might be too expensive to move the furnace in the garage.....
Thank you for the feedback, will look more into that.
For now I think I am going with a two stage york furnace at 4k including installation.
