Title: Where do you get your candle making supplies?
Post by: BlueMR2 on March 29, 2013, 03:41:12 PM
I'd really like to find a place in NorthWest Ohio/SouthEast Michigan, but am willing to order online too.  :-)  Just need some wicks.

Or, if there's a good way to make my own with common household supplies, I'd be interested in that too.

You could do things pioneer-style and just use lard. Plus, your house would always smell like bacon.

How expensive is the candlemaking hobby? One of the last years before I was old enough to cook, I got a candle- and soap-making kit, and I thought it was great fun, but I've not really thought about it since.

...and of course, everyone replies right after I place an order...  :-)
