What to do with old baseball cards?
« on: September 06, 2018, 12:04:43 PM »
We're moving house and I'm doing the mustachian thing and getting rid of anything.
We have about half a closet shelf full of old baseball cards. I highly doubt they are worth anything.

Any recommendations on what to do with these things? Not looking to get rich, I just hate to outright throw it away.

Thanks!

Ravenik

It might help if you say how old (roughly) the collection is.

I collected in the early 90s.  It's all worthless trash.

Post on Craigslist and see what kind of bites you get.  That's what I did with my old Magic: the Gathering cards about five years ago and some kid gave me $200 for all of it.  Best guess is that everything together was worth about $300 but there's no way I was about to separate out all the valuable ones and sell them individually.

I sold about 3 linear feet of cards for $35 on craigslist.
All 90s cards, so I thought I got a great deal. They are worth nothing.
