If you spend a lot of money at the grocery store but eat all your meals at home, wouldn't that be considered frugal? For instance, If I spend $1,000 a month for two people and there are 93 meals in a month. $1,000 divided by 93 equals $10.75. Then divide that by 2 people that equals $5.38 per meal per person each month. That is pretty frugal! If two people ate out 8 dinner meals and had a few glasses of wine the bill would be at least $60-$75. Multiply $75 times 8 would be $600. So, I think if you area eating well at home and are eating good meals of fruits, veggies and proteins, it is a bargain eating at home, and much more healthy.
