Can I get broadcast television from another market?

For all of the smart mustachians out there... Is there a way to get the broadcast television from a television market that you don't live in?  Legally of course.

For instance, if I want to watch a NFL game from another city, but don't want to go to a bar or get Sunday ticket, can I get the signal from another city? 

My particular circumstance: I live in Columbus, OH and I want to get Cleveland Browns games when they play other area teams instead on our local stations.  My family lives in Cleveland - can they stream the broadcast? 

Would love any ideas!

Do any members of your family have cable or satellite service that is accessible via tablet or computer? If so, you need their login and password and you can see their channels.

the bfg promises me that using kodi for streaming and I'm not going to jail. A quick Google search seemed to back it up. Ethical? No. I can feel my heart trusting over and turning to coal.

Ok. I'm going to ask about the cable/satellite login to see what they have.  That could solve all of my problems. 

I haven't heard of kodi, I'll have to look it up

Depending on the distance, if you point your TV antenna towards the other tower you might be lucky.

I know people used to do that where I grew up because you could get live sports that weren't telecast on the local TV tower. I think the other tower was maybe 60-70 miles away.

You could have your family get a Slingbox (http://www.slingbox.com/DiscoverSling.aspx) and then hook up/register a device to it - as long as they are watching the Browns, you can watch it too on a device of your choice.

Warning--a lot of the services can see your geographic location, so even if you get access to someone else's account the service will say "this device is (wherever)" and black you out.

+1 on the SlingBox.  I've used one to watch US TV around the world.
