When I die, I want to give my assets to charities.  Since I live in a community property state (which requires spousal consent for beneficiaries) what would happen if I don't have a spousal consent form? Will all the beneficiaries lose all rights to anything I leave them?

Ah, understood.  FYI, once someone has posted on a thread you cannot delete the thread.  you can click "report to moderator" and ask them to delete it, or you can change teh subject title to something like "Mod: Please Delete" and eventually they do.
