Title: What are the current best credit card offers?

We were planning to get the Chase Sapphire Reserve, mostly due to the large upfront points bonus. We are spending a few thousand dollars in the next couple months so it seemed like a good time to finally get it.

But it ended in January! Switched to a 50k bonus. I'm not convinced it is a great deal for 50k points. OTOH, I really want the airport lounges, and H travels regularly for work and would get the global entry.

I saw one blog post that said you might still be able to get 100,000 points of you apply in person in a Chase bank.

Thoughts?

I applied in person at a Chase bank on Tuesday and got the 100,000 point offer. They said the in-branch 100k offer was valid through 3/12/17.

I'm considering getting that card next as well! Good to know you can still get the 100k bonus by applying in person.

Would also spend some time reading the http://thepointsguy.com/ (http://thepointsguy.com/) -- does a pretty good job of deal tracking and assessing the value of various points programs.
