watching tennis
« on: August 22, 2013, 10:20:56 AM »
My husband and I are tennis fans. It is one of the few remaining reasons to have cable. But we are paying $130/ month and it doesn't even include tennisTV, which costs extra. We are about to cut cable. (yay, finally got DH to be on board!)

But what is an inexpensive way to be able to watch all the tennis tournaments? I can subscribe to tennisTV, but DH doesn't want to watch tennis on a small computer screen. (the ball looks like a dot on a small screen, hard to see)

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
annod

What kind of TV do you have? Most newer tvs, and some older ones, are able to hook up with your computer. So you can stream it on your computer but project it onto the tv.

Or another option would be to buy a massive computer monitor. They have monitors that are the size of a great tv. Sure it is expensive, but it is a one-time expense, whereas 140/month for cable is an ongoing expense.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
