Vintage bike experts

I was searching through gumtree (Aussie version of Craigslist) and came across this bike for $30. Am I mistaken that it looks like a hand buit steel frame with what looks like a campagnolo chorus crank?

I've only just started looking at vintage steel bikes so I'm not sure but this looks like a good quality bike... I live in Sydney but have a friend who is travelling down so thought I might get her to pick it up. Also, if it does turn out to be a campagnolo crank should I offer more? Those sell on eBay for quite a bit...

For $30 bucks it seems like a decent bike, but it looks big. It might be 62cm+ hard to tell. Are you looking to buy this and then resell it or are you looking for a bike to ride?

looks like a sweet ride for $30, especially if it's the right size.

If you can pick out a campy crank from that picture you don't need my help :)

Only clue I can decipher is that the rear derailleur might be black, most campy stuff I've ever run into from that era is silver.

I'm looking for a road bike for myself (163cm) and a neighbourhood bike for my husband (192cm) I'm also intending to get a vintage bike for my brother but he's almost my height so 62cm would be too big for him.

Hmm I'm guessing its not the chorus crank and just a copy, vintage chorus looks so nice up close anybody would realise its worth more than $30. I've seen some interesting combinations of parts, so wasn't expecting a full groupset but sometimes nice things come up :) still might be worth it if it rides nicely and convinces my husband to bike commute instead of taking the train!
