Using the MassSave 0% loan to buy a new Natural Gas Boiler?
« on: April 29, 2014, 08:06:58 AM »
Hey all,

My wife and I are converting our new home to natural gas, and we're wondering what would be more mustachian.

1) purchase the boiler in cash, and utilize appropriate rebates for the furnace as well through the Mass Save program. (http://www.masssave.com/residential/lighting-and-appliances?gclid=CM2ynczuhb4CFcMDOgod3WYAtw)

2. utilize rebates for furnace, as well at their 0% loan for the entire cost of the boiler.

as far as I can tell so far, there are no hidden fees or anything of the sort to utilize their 0% loan system.  so you're essentially getting a 3%/year discount (inflation) for purchasing the boiler in this manner....anything I'm missing? anyone else whose used the Mass Save system?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
