I used to work for a company where you had to work 2000 hours per year. Yes, 2080 is 40-hour weeks at 52 weeks per year, but 40 hours per week isn't standard for my industry. I wound up taking 5.5 weeks of time off (including holiday, sick, and vacation) and easily making my 2000 hours. I think this is a good way to do "unlimited time off." It made me feel like I was being compensated for extra time I worked and was extremely flexible.
