I am wondering whether others are thinking about the issue of renting on Turo and not having enough car insurance coverage. Their basic liability is for state minimums and most credit cards don't allow the CDW because it is not a traditional rental car company. My car insurance company (Geico) doesn't cover them and neither do my chase credit cards. Just wondering if anyone else has thought about this. Does anyone know of which insurance companies or credit cards would cover renting on Turo? It seems like it is cost prohibitive vs traditional rental car companies if you have to buy additional insurance to cover liability etc.
