« on: October 21, 2016, 11:04:07 AM »
Folks, Grateful if anyone can guide me.

Wish to travel from NYC to Toronto and back Nov 15 to Nov 30. Requesting information about a  good, cheap way of traveling.

Thank you.

Megabus? If you time it right, you can get the $1 tickets.

Drive up? Only takes about a tank and a half of gas to get there depending on what car you have. Usually takes me about 9 - 10 hours with stops.

I am looking at megabus and similar. I do not  have a car or US licence.
Thank you for your replies.

Kangaride.com works great for us for cross-border trips. There's a small fee to book but rides are always great.

It's 30 bucks each way using megabus. Not sure what else you are looking for. 12 hour ride and I think you transfer in Buffalo. You can buy tickets on the website.

Unless you go to Chinatown and try to find cheap buses going to buffalo and then buying the 16 dollar megabus ride from Buffalo to Toronto.

Not sure what cheap operators will get you to Buffalo. I think those cheap operators are closer to the east coast and will go between D.C. to Boston. The cheap megabus fares I think are more along that route as well. Don't think there really is anything cheaper than megabus to Buffalo.
