I have been looking at options for starting my own business and have begun the process with a company called The Master's Touch; who market and sell a business startup package for a surface restoration business. However, the interview process is just getting weird, and I am feeling like they are withholding details until I submit to a credit check. I have been asking specific questions about overhead expenses, how to see the equipment in action in person rather than via video, but they won't share specifics until "we determine that you are a viable candidate for our opportunity"
Anybody ever dealt with them, or are any of you out there running one of their businesses? How about other franchise owners...is this the way it goes?
I am really starting to feel uncomfortable with the one-sidedness of the pitch and am thinking I should go with that feeling and pull out before they impact my credit score. What say you, mustachians?
