I would echo marblejane's suggestion.
Just because you can go to all games, doesn't mean you have to. An option is to go to a subset of the games (maybe more than you would if you buy individual games), and try to recoup your cost by selling the rest, until the overall cost is more to your liking. If you still want to just go to every game, then it's up to you to come to terms with the cost.
But you should check in advance whether there's a market for those tickets in your area, whether it be through ticket vendors or your local craigslist. If there isn't, then the above option isn't really available to you.
I've purchased NHL tickets from other people (presumably Season Pass holders) through Ticketmaster before. I would guess there are alternative sites, as well, though I'm not sure if it also works with smaller league teams.
