Title: Supplemental Accident Insurance
Post by: onecoolcat on July 07, 2015, 03:50:03 PM
I recently had a slip and fall in my home and broke my shoulder.  I went to the ER and have a $1500 bill from it (my deductible).  ER doctor referred me to an orthopedic doctor who found my injury was caused by the slip and fall but my bone broke because i had a benign bone cyst in my shoulder.  I'm wondering if this is still considered an accidental injury or if the bone cyst would be a "pre-existing condition" that negates coverage.

Ur deductible is $1500 but ur only being billed for $950 for the ER, which went towards THAT deductible.
