Looking for an article that I *think* I read on here
« on: April 25, 2013, 07:26:09 AM »
My googling isn't coming through for me.  I read an article either here, or on early-retirement.org, that basically compared the difference between increasing your personal savings rate versus trying to figure out the perfect AA to "beat the market".  It showed the value in just improving your personal savings rate and not worrying so damn much about AA.

Does anyone know of the article I speak of?

I recalled reading a similar article on Vanguard's website.  Here is the link from August 2012.  The article may not be exactly what you are looking for but likely echoes the article you describe.
