I love my Macbook Pro, but Susan tells me I'm getting funky posture from using it at my standing desk. So...
I'm considering either a monitor mounted at eye level, or a wireless keyboard/trackpad with the MBP on a stand.
Any advice? I'm interested in the energy consumption angle, as well as trying to keep that keyboard feel that I so love on my Mac.
[edit: a smaller screen is sufficient, I'm mainly writing, no gaming.]

First off, who is Susan? And is she to be trusted?

Both! Larger screen = easier on the eyes. Mac Magic Keyboard = easier to position properly than a keyboard attached to a laptop.
I use both, with the laptop mounted for use as a second screen. No more neck/shoulder problems. Can't imagine going back and looking like the dude in the second picture:

40" 4K monitors (which your MacBook Pro might be able to drive, are USD$300-600. There is no substitute for monitor area, even if you're not gaming. Even 4K@24 Hz is sort of OK for web, word processing and non-video uses.

Thanks, all!
kpd905: she'd better be, we've been married for 23 years!

I bought a wireless keyboard back when I started at my current job 2,5 years ago. It hasn't failed me. I used to have a huge keyboard with those numbers on the right side and a mouse. I switched to my Logitech keyboard with a pad instead of the number area and no mouse. Much better.
