Spreadsheets to keep track of spending
« on: December 30, 2013, 11:01:01 AM »
Hi folks,

I took a year off from keeping track of my expenses, but I want to get back on it for 2014. I'm old school when it comes to this type of stuff, so I don't think I would go the way of Mint or other online programs. I enjoy going over my accounts and inputting the information manually to a spreadsheet. Does anyone have a template of a spreadsheet that tracks spending as well as income they would be willing to share?

Thanks!

I use a modified version of Budgetsaresexy's template “Financial Snapshot & Budget” (first one on the page)

Also, Vertex42 has lots of cool templates for the Excel nerd as well.  http://www.vertex42.com/
