Solar Installation

Need some help.

I have a friend who is a master electrician.  He is interested in starting a business installing solar panels.  Does anyone know where one goes to receive such training?  Anyone know of any franchises worth looking into?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try Heatspring first.  Used it for geothermal but they have solar also.

I don't know a lot about it, but was looking into getting solar for my home and the company's website said that they were "NABCEP Certified for PV Installation".

A quick Google turned up this : http://www.nabcep.org/certification/pv-installer-certification

Looks like it lists some potential training opportunities.
