Title: Small business accounting software other than Quick Books?

I get a lot of questions asking about small business accounting software. Mainly for farmers or homesteaders with a lot of schedule F income. Anything worth recommending other than Quick Books? Would not need any payroll functionality typically.

Check out Xero. www.xero.com. It's an online product and is apparently better than quickbooks. It has over 1 million users and is currently the leading small business accounting in the UK, Australia, and NZ, and is growing fast exponentially in the US.

Search for "accounting bot" in your favorite search engine. There are a few new options that are very interesting. I believe pegg is one of them.
