Side hustles for the Christmas season
« on: November 05, 2017, 08:59:01 PM »
With all the talk about Christmas social activity and consumerism, what kinds of side hustles are successful at this time of year?

From other threads, I've seen:

  • making or selling gift-able items
  • gift wrapping

Other possibilities include finding a retail job as seasonal help, party help (food preparation, serving, clean up), themed photography.

Any other suggestions or ideas?  (I'm actually open to regular side-hustle ideas, too, but anything I can get off the ground for Nov and Dec is appealing because I have unused income deductions specific to the 2017 tax year, so need to earn income this year to get use out of them.)

I've seen that the USPS and UPS both increase hiring, some temporary, during the holiday season.
The need for delivery drivers is on gig.
