Hi New Community-
I'm new to the community and trying to make a major decision.
I"ve been living in the Bay Area for seven years. Made a lot of friends and built a good business teaching Yoga and as a therapist. However- I'm trying to think about the future and making good decisions. I own a house in Portland, Or. All things being equal, quite frankly- I'd rather stay here. I love my friends and the work I can do. HOWEVER- everything is so unstable and uncertain- not sure I can afford it. All this is complicated by the fact that I'm single. I'm 45 and a single female. I have to be carefull and think about my future and I'm really wanting to make a good financial choice.
My mortgage in Portland is only $1000 a month- not bad! Emotionally its a lot harder- I prefer my community here but...
ideas?

If you're not sure you can afford it, and making sure you can afford it is what you mean by making good decisions, then try posting the details as a case study (http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/ask-a-mustachian/how-to-write-a-%27case-study%27-topic/).
