Boulder vs Longmont
« on: June 08, 2013, 10:47:30 AM »
My wife and I want to retire next year; and probably leave Calif; Boulder is her type of place - fits her tri-athlete healthy food philosphy lifestyle and she has family in Co - works for me;

 but we wonder if the Boulder housing price difference is worth it compared to Longmont; we have pretty minimal requirements, would like to walk and ride and avoid use of car as much as possible, need a real nice gym (weights, spin class, lap pool, and yoga) and would like acesss to Buddhist temple/zendo, low key restauraunts would be nice

Some thoughts on Boulder vs Longmont would be appreciated - Thanks for any comments

Fort Collins is just as fit as Boulder, cheaper, and a much better place to live ;)

No idea about the Buddhist temple, but a centrally located house would fulfill all of your wishes, and should be much cheaper than Boulder.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
