Title: Should I buy a domain name with a package or without?
Post by: mozar on August 08, 2015, 05:22:03 PM
I would like to buy a domain name. I'm not ready to build out a website yet. Maybe in a month but I want to get the ball rolling. I want to start with a basic website like squarespace, then take it to a website consultant like "men with pens" to build a custom website. My technical skill level is low to moderate. It doesn't seem cheaper to buy it with a package, but it is more complicated I've noticed, to buy a package and then try to "point" the old domain name.

"pointing" the domain name shouldn't be too hard. But it could be harder than just having them do it for you. A domain name is like $8-10/year so it shouldn't make the package much more expensive.
