Any Great Credit Card Sign-up Bonuses?

I have already used the Chase Sapphire card (2 years ago), AMEX Gold Premier (just cancelled), AMEX HHonors and AA Rewards cards.  I dont currently have anything churning and have to renew my car insurance this coming month so its a good time to sign up for a new card!  Any recommendations?

If it has been 2 years since you last got the bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred, you can get it again.  55,000 points after $4,000 spend and adding an authorized user.

Otherwise there is the Citi Prestige card for 50,000 points after $3,000 spend.  There is a $450 fee, but you can get $250 worth of airline fees (including the actual flight) reimbursed once per calendar year.  You can also get $100 reimbursed for Global Entry.

So you can get $600 of credits and 50,000 points for paying the $450 fee.  The 50,000 points can be used to book an $800 flight on American Airlines.

Once you've closed, you're good to go.  Check creditkarma.com if you want an approximation of your credit score, though if your credit is good enough to close on a home, it's probably good enough for most rewards cards.

It partly depends on what you want - hotel or airfare or flexible points.  In additon to those mentioned above look at:

Southwest Airlines.  I believe the current offer is 50,000 points.  Fee is not waiver the first year.

IHG (includes Holiday Inns and Crowne Plazas).  Offers are generally in the 50,000 to 60,000 range. 
After the first year, annual fee is $49 but you get a free reward night.

Hilton (includes Embassy Suites and Doubletree).  Current offer is 75,000 points (higher than usual).  No annual fee.

I think each of these has a spend of around $2,000 within 3 months.  I was too lazy to double check the particulars, these are based on memory.

Keep an eye on your mail & your targeted offers? I made the mistake of applying for a 30K bonus points card and then realizing I got a targeted offer in the mail for the same card for 50K points.. and when I called customer service, the lady wouldn't honor it.  Lesson learned!
