Securely storing documents on Android Phone
« on: July 09, 2017, 11:22:37 AM »
I'm looking for options to securely store documents (pdf document files, png/jpg/gif images)
on an Android phone, e.g. passport, drivers license, SSN card, etc.

Ideally the app would provide a simple way to display files and require a separate master
password to decrypt the documents -- so even if the device is compromised, the files aren't
readable.

ES File Explorer/Manager PRO

There's also a free version if you want to try it out first, but it's ad supported. If privacy and security matter that much to you, pay the $3 and get the ads removed.

Thanks for the info.  I'm also going to investigate Crypt4AllLite.
