Review My Resume?
« on: September 10, 2013, 11:25:45 AM »
This forum has quite a few business owners, hiring managers, and HR folk from diverse fields. Would any of you be so kind as to review my resume for me? I'm a college senior, and about to hand it out to several hundred employers at a campus career fair. I'm looking for

  • A technical critique (rephrase this, lose this, etc), and
  • Your impression of who the resume is describing

It's been working fine for getting interviews/offers for decent jobs, but not necessarily the ones that I'm most interested in. So I'm really curious about the "impression" aspect.

Let me know, and I'll PM a link to you. :)

What did you major in?

What field are you trying to work in?

Details like this can help get the right person to take a look for you.

I deliberately left that piece out to solicit responses from different fields. My major is field-agnostic, and I want to go into the field that maximizes my compensation (including non-monetary, like flexibility). So I'm not targeting any specific reviewer, other than one with experience hiring.

Some background can be found here.
I forgot about that. 0_0
Still going through that internal debate, as I need to decide in the next month or so whether to accept any of the offers I have on the table.
PM'd you. :)
