Reverse Case Study
« on: July 21, 2015, 10:02:05 AM »
We see on here all the time great questions and great answers based off people's current journey. Has anyone broken down in 1 post their successful journey?

FI/RE
Started getting serious at X age
Was making $x/yr
My budget looked like this
Extra income was split between here and here for a number of years
Once account X got to $Y I moved on to doing this and this
FIRE with $X in this account, $Y in this account and am loving life

Would love to hear some stories in that format. I think anyone on this journey had bouts of goals and took it season by season. Would love to see a big picture of how those seasons looked for the ones successful in the journey.

Look through the journals section. Look up the individuals who are post-FIRE in particular.

Any way to filter by that criteria? I've followed that section a while but I only ever seem to find people in midst of their journey.

If anyone knows of Post-FIRE journals, please feel free to share them here. I'd welcome a little repo of good stories in that category.
