Republic Wireless no longer working for me

I switched to Republic several years ago and it's been great until recently. I did get a notification that their messaging app would no longer be supported starting 3/31 so I switched over to Google Messaging. That had been working fine up until yesterday. Suddenly when I'm out and about I can no longer send text messages, view anything online, use Facebook Messenger, etc. I get an error that tells me "no networks available" yet I'm able to make a voice call just fine. I can get both Wi-Fi and cell signal fine in my house, but outside my four walls (or maybe my neighborhood, I haven't fully tested) it's essentially just a phone. Sunday night everything was working, as of yesterday morning it was non-functional.

I'm going to contact them of course, but wondered if anyone else here was having issues.

Oops, methinks this was user error...discovered that "Use Mobile Data" was turned off. Seems the most likely cause, I'll know when I go out again.

 

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
