Republic Wireless Moto e

I just switched my wife and I over to Republic Wireless.  I bought a black Moto e for myself and a white one for my wife.  My phone works perfectly, but hers has dropped several calls, call audio quality isn't good, doesn't receive texts from some people, and shows a weaker signal than mine when they are right next to each other. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Did we just get a bad phone, and if so, do you think Republic would be likely to swap it for a different one?

I would contact them (maybe via a chat window) and explain your problem.  See what they say.  It would be easy for them to swap them I expect.
