I have a friend who is in her 60s and not sophisticated when it comes to understanding money or finances. She just came into a significant (6 figure) windfall. She's never used a financial advisor before and has a lot of questions about planning (too late) for retirement and what to do with her new found cash. I would like to be able to recommend to her a fiduciary/fee-only financial advisor that she can talk to. Someone who will be kind, patient, and give her good advice. Any suggestions? She lives in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area.
