Rec for online photo book?
« on: November 28, 2022, 09:17:23 AM »
I recently came across family color slides from decades ago.  I plan to have some digitized and then want to make photo books through one of the online sites.  Years ago I made one and the picture quality was mediocre.  Does anyone have a site they would recommend? Thanks!

I've used Shutterfly for years and been pretty happy. My books are usually right around 30 pages so not sure if thinner or thicker would be problematic. I tend to get 8x8 hardcover and pay extra for the fancy spine that lies open nicely.

My kids "read" the books all the time and even the oldest ones from when they were babies are still in good shape.

I have used Motif for hardbacks of old family materials (to convince family members to let me donate them to a museum). Not cheap but quality was good and folks were very impressed.

It's no good to me because I don't plan any more soon but I can dm you a referral link that should get you 30% off if you like (not posting because it includes my full name).

I use Blurb.com and have been really happy.  Also not cheap (~$100 for a 120 page book with full color pictures on every page) but a few times a year (like today) they have 50% off sales.
