Professional liability insurance
« on: March 30, 2016, 01:13:04 PM »
Anybody have to purchase this before? A company is asking me to consult for them. It's only probably a few hours a week, but most of the work I can do from home. It's in a healthcare related field, signing out lab results and such. Easy stuff. But like most things in healthcare, a screw up would be expensive. Anybody have any ideas how much this might cost me, ballpark like? Can you get coverage for such a short amount of time? Any suggestions on good companies that provide this service? Thanks for the input all!

Second that. I did mine through Hiscox. You can go online and get a quote. Costs vary based on your field, how much coverage you want, etc.
