problems porting to rw

sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere, i searched and did not find.  we have a verizon wireless account with 2 phone numbers.  just received an rw phone and wanted to port over one of the numbers.  this number has formerly been ported from t-mobile.  they're (rw's automated service) is telling us the number is not available to be ported.  The phone number is no longer under contract.  any ideas?  verizon has been of no help, they've just said it has to be done thu rw.

Definitely contact RW support. They've been good to me in the past.

Be sure to tell them every error message precisely - copy and paste, or re-type precisely what you see. This makes life easier for everyone. Similarly, be sure to do whatever they tell you precisely, and tell them precisely what steps you've taken.
