Price comparison websites? Need a new laptop!
«

Just realized now that I'm quitting my job, I'm going to need to buy myself a new laptop, probably a chromebook. Does anyone know of any good websites to compare prices? Figured the good people here would have the 411!
Thanks!

I just bought a new laptop at the beginning of the year and I mostly did the legwork myself. I comparison shopped at Costco, BestBuy, and the computer company websites. I wound up buying directly from Lenovo. Good luck with your search.

For a "new to you" laptop, Ebay is probably the best way to compare prices and specs.
It seems that most of the improvements in laptops in the past decade have related to making them lighter with longer battery life. If you will generally be using yours plugged in and don't mind a couple extra pounds, you can find good deals on very capable used laptops.

To add to my previous post, its not a price comparison website but if the deal is front page or at least five stars it's likely a good deal.
For price history on amazon, i use camelcamelcamel.
For both websites, you can set email alerts.
