Sorry to hear that you're struggling with your job. I have been there before, traveling 4-5 days a week - it's not fun. I also have a two year old so I can relate.
There seem to be a lot of avenues to get into web development these days. There are a lot of MOOCs that can teach you the fundamentals (search Coursera, EdX, Udacity), but you need a lot of self-discipline for these types of courses. They're also a bit more on the academic side so it might not necessarily translate directly into a paid position.
If you're looking for something a little more intensive, you might want to look at coding-specific school like General Assembly, Thinkful, AppAcademy and places like that. There are tons more that I can't recall off the top of my head. I can't vouch for the job placement rate for these places or anything, but these companies are focused entirely on getting people jobs in web development.
