You can pay it off - it's within your control. I'd say do it. Yes, it's a ton of money, but you make good money. It's 2x your annual income; so that's doable.

Besides, if you get it paid off in 5 years, you will have more freedom for the next 15 years. Otherwise, you are structuring the next 20 years of your life around the tax code, in one way or another. Better to be debt free. And with your income, you can refinance at Sofi or one of the competitors. Plus, you'll probably learn enough at your position that you can work for yourself in 2-3 years and make more money.
