Title: only allowed one amazon chase card, alternative?
Post by: treesner on January 09, 2020, 02:29:27 PM
hey guys I tried to get a second chase amazon card to keep my side business expenses better separated but they said I can't have two of those cards. Any thoughts on what to go with? I'm thinking of just using the current chase amazon card for the business then using the points to pay for non business stuff since I do less of that. Or would you go with another business card?

my typical business purchases:
amazon: for tools and some supplies
paying small businesses online: materials, products, production
gas (I'm using a b of a card with 3% gas for that now)
shipping orders with USPS

For business expenses go with one of the Chase Ink cards.  Chase Ink Preferred should give you $800 if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months.  The Ink Unlimited gives $500 after spending $3,000 in 3 months.

Or the Chase southwest card if you want to earn the companion pass I think there is a 70k offer right now.

Get that and a personal southwest chase card and you are pretty close to getting the companion pass.

If you get the companion pass now it would be good through this year and next.

If you decide to go with the southwest cards I have a link that gives me 10k points. I would offer the same info either way it is a really good deal IMO.
