Now what? House? Stocks? Rentals? Other?
« on: May 11, 2015, 11:55:09 AM »
My Wife and I are now debt free (we rent our home). I'm a bit stuck on what to do next on our march towards early retirement. Do we buy a house so we can start paying it off? Invest in stock market? Buy rental property? It seems like focus on one would be the most efficient way as opposed to spreading our money across all three. Which step will have the most impact on our early retirement journey?

Thanks in advance for all of your input!

Minimizing spending and investing the difference between income and spending in the best after-taxes-on-withdrawals investment vehicle for you.

There is no specific one-size-fits-all best route.  Rental properties can be good, stock investment can be good, etc.

You might consider a case study for more targeted feedback.
