I've lived in the Raleigh/Durham area now for almost 10 years and have been through a few hurricanes. Usually in the RTP, I may lose power and a couple of trees in the back yard, but this is supposed to be a big one.
I feel like with the pregnant wife and so many unknowns, that it may be wisest to sit out.
For what it is worth, on the list of reasons to have to miss a wedding, a major hurricane seems like a pretty good one.
