I would like to have a credit card that I can purchase things online that is not traceable to me.
Is that possible?

You could buy Visa gift cards at the grocery or drug store.  I think they cost ~$5. and will work anywhere a Visa cc will.

How is your SO going to find out?  You could possibly use a business credit card that does not report to the personal credit bureaus.

This is how I pay for my VPN annually (I should just use Bitcoin now-a-days).  You have to register the cards to use them online, so for best anonymity use a temp email address; fake name and address for registration.
