Those are insane prices! Same cars here (DC area) would be around $15k.
i.e.
2011, 33k $14.5k

2013, 60k mi, $14.5k

But how far would you have to travel to find some at reasonable prices? Even if it's pretty far it looks like you could save $5000..

edit:
this gives about $5k for the first 3 years. Although it's a bit old

Meanwhile in Canada...

2010 Prius - $13,000 CAD (~$10,300 USD) w/ 118,000 km (~73,000 miles)
http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Toyota/Prius/NORTH+YORK/Ontario/19_8654174_/?showcpo=ShowCPO&orup=12_100_28

2010 Prius - $13,500 CAD (~$10,700 USD) w/ 120,000 km (~75,000 miles)
http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Toyota/Prius/MILTON/Ontario/19_8619997_/?showcpo=ShowCPO&orup=13_100_28

Depending on tariffs... perhaps worthwhile (no NAFTA exemptions here, however, as it isn't North American made)?

Not bad. But I think the latest Prius redesign was for the 2011 model year? Which gave it more cargo space among other things. So those older models would be a bit cheaper.

I was able to find four 2011 Priuses on AutoTrader for under $10k (all with more than 100k miles though). Here's one:

Keep in mind too it is tax time. I scan Craigslist every_single_day and noticed a very substantial increase in prices for ALL stuff including cars (of course, actual transaction prices will vary). Good if you are a seller. Not so much if you are a buyer.
