New to books

As someone who is new to reading, what is a good lifestyle/finance book to start with? I was going to borrow Guide to a Goid Life from my local library, but it is checked out already until mid next month. Since i have finished reading all the posts on this blog, from the beginning to the end, I figured i should keep my reading going with something else. Any good suggestions?

Don't get me wrong, I loved, loved, loved the book and have read it more than once, but I learned next to nothing about how to invest the money I'd managed to save. True, it does cover lifestyle, but if OP has read all of Pete's posts, and wants to learn more about finance, this is the very best next step, IMHO: http://jlcollinsnh.com/stock-series/ <- This is a different link than the one I posted earlier, but any way you get there is a good way.

No, i mean i'm new to books... I haven't read a book since high school. :/ Although I am looking to get restarted with finance/well living books to continue my education on these topics.

This is pretty overwhelming for a new book reader. I'd head for JL Collins' website and then to the library.
