Do any of you rent out your car?

We're booking a rental car for a vacation in the Calgary/Kananaskis area.  Always a do-it-yourself fan, I  did a little googling, and saw a bunch of sites that allow people to rent their own cars to others. The business handles the insurance logistics and the booking software.   This seems like a sensible idea.  They all seem to be US sites though.
Have any of you in Canada ever tried it or had a friend who did it?  This seems like such a great plan to reduce the number of cars in the world.

That's pretty cool! I haven't heard of it in Canada, though. The closest I've seen is there's a service in Toronto where you can offer rides to people in your car and they'll pay you. It's called "Lyft".

Check out RelayRides, although I'm not sure they're in Canada yet?? I just rented out my car for the first time with it. Transaction was smooth!

Oh that sounds like a disaster. I would probably get someone who let their cat piss all over the back seat. All for $38 or something.
