We've moving this summer, but I'm having trouble with the whole Northwest Raleigh vs. Cary idea.  DH likes Cary and that the high schools are more highly rated.  I like the idea of Northwest Raleigh and a more diverse school.  We'd like to be close to RTP for work.  Housing seems to be similarly priced in both so hard to use that as a decision maker, I've seen very few houses under 300k that seem to fit our bill of 3 bedrooms plus an office and a garage.  Any thoughts from Raleigh area mustachians??

What about Morrisville or Apex? Both convenient to RTP but you may be able to find a little bit more house for the money.  The Cary market is HOT right now - multiple offer situations are the norm.  Can't comment on schools though.
