Post by: Kaikou on August 28, 2015, 12:09:01 PM
Outside of this thread or section, what are the most interactive threads of The Money mustache Community?

What do you mean by interactive? Would it be measure by most posts? Longest "active" thread?

I guess both. I am assuming most people come over to "Ask Mustache." Thread bc after reading the blog you want to know what you can do to get started.

I guess what other threads have that pull.

The General Discussion thread is probably the next-most-active.

Well then just go to any subforum and click the replies header twice, it'll sort all the posts by the number of replies from most to least.

The usage of "thread" here may be different than intended.

This is a post I'm writing now. The set of posts on this page makes up a thread. A collection of threads makes up a subforum (e.g. "Ask a Mustachian").

Best for what purpose? The page here (http://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/index.php) describes what they are for.

I like Ask A Mustachian for the case studies and other advice-seeking. Investor Alley is not my cup of tea, but if you're into that, there's a lot of knowledgeable people over there. Off-topic has a lot of political arguments. Share Your Badassity is good for inspiration. Antimustachian Wall of Shame and Comedy is good for those days you feel snarky or need feel superior.

ETA: If you sort by "show unread posts since last visit" rather than by sub-forum, you'll always get the most "active" threads.

Don't get suckered into paying for that. You can get complimentary access with the right credit card.

Yeah, that's a lot cheaper than earning the 1,000 frequent poster hours.
